Our Mission

The National Korean Student Alliance exists to connect Korean and Korean American students and Korean Student Associations across the United States of America, to provide these students and organizations with resources and networking opportunities to succeed, and to advance Korean American interests, culture, and excellence.

The National Korean Student Alliance will serve as the preeminent unifying organization that will ensure Korean and Korean American students and student organizations are connected, networked and resourced with other student leaders, community organizations, and professional and cultural resources.

Our Story

In April 2021, a group of students organized the first Korean Association Presidents' Summit. The goal was to build a national community for Korean Student organization leaders and discuss ways to build a national support network. 30 chapter presidents gathered and heard from keynote speaker James Rhee, networked with one another, and brainstormed about the future of Korean American students.

In Fall 2021, the second Korean Association Presidents' Summit was held. After the annual change in club leadership at most chapters around the country, organizers and students realized a long-term institution that connected chapters and developed resources would be the optimal structure for resource development. It was at this second summit that the Resolution to form the National Korean Student Alliance was introduced and discussed.

Since early 2022, Korean organization chapters began signing on to the resolution and started networks of Korean American students across the nation.
